THE TIN FARM

I gathered a total of 22 Sidder Trees, of different shapes and sizes. Together with a myriad of dead species found within our cities and deserts. Upon collecting said material  I  designed the artwork “ I n s t a l l i n g  in the Void “ and “ E t e r n a l i z i n g of Tree through Cardiac catheterization”.

I am able to distinguish between external sounds, foliage, groaning trees, branches and even grass. Similar to fingerprints – no two are alike – every tree, every branch, every strand of grass has its own unique murmur – no two are alike.

The tree represented in the photograph was burnt and thrown away- discarded – on the corner of the street near my house. Upon momentary observation this discarded tree appears to be the extension of human. I took these discarded trees and catheterized them, and now they are alive and in memory. Catheterization was used to revive the body that came out of the tree trunk. I often see paramedics, on the freeways, with tinfoil. Upon seeing the tinfoil came out. I know that a soul has left its body, whilst the physical body is being preserved.
